Conversion Patch Looms:
A patch loom is needed in order to make this conversion plug and play, these can be purchased from various online sellers. I am aiming to offer an affordable loom for sale in the near future
What’s Required:
- FG MK2 Complete ICC Unit
- FG MK2 ICC Top Hat
- FG MK2 HIM Module (Optional)
- Conversion Patch Loom (Not Pictured)
Patch Loom Configuration
The attached images show how to correctly install the patch loom, it is recommended to run the cable behind the dash ICC brackets as one plug will need to go underneath the shifter surround plastic.
The factory shifter surround AUX plug will then need to be disconnected, as this is what the patch loom will connect to. This is what will allow the bluetooth music to function correctly.
The patch loom will then connect to your existing main ICC plug under the top hat, aswell as the factory bluetooth phone module and reverse camera if fitted to your car.
